The People Behind Bean Counters
Richard and Lisa Roy, the founders of Bean Counters Coffee House, began their journey of opening a coffee house in 1997. While other business ventures and commitments delayed their opening until October 2008, the wait was more than worth it. A unique environment and artistic presentation of specialty coffee has given Northern Alberta a new experience.
Richard and Lisa have lived in Grande Prairie, Alberta for 19 years with their two children Luc (13) and Elyse (11). Richard has been an accountant through his tenure in Alberta and Lisa enjoys a successful career as a Registered Nurse.
